WHO WE ARE

Commercial Truck Holdings (CTH) is a boutique consulting and brokering firm specializing in the Commercial Truck sector in South Africa. We have direct arrangements with reputable dealer groups and manufacturers for new truck and trailer purchases at competitive prices. We also have an extensive used vehicle database and network thus allowing us to find you the right vehicle for your application.

CTH can also source buyers for your used trucks and trailers.

Our extensive database of qualified buyers and reputable suppliers has been built up over many years in the industry and allows us to facilitate transactions on both a large and small scale.

Our passion for and knowledge of the trucking industry means that we are able to provide a number of additional services – please see our products and services section. Our business ethos is that of integrity and transparency – we endeavor to build long term relationships based on trust and honesty.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Commercial Truck Holdings (CTH) was established in 2015 by its founder Lad le Roux.

Lad’s passion for trucks started from an early age with most of his family being involved in various areas of the trucking and logistics industries. Lad started his first job with Mercedes Benz Trucks back in 1996 and soon started making a name for himself with his company and customers alike. This was the beginning of a successful career within the Trucking and Logistics industry that allowed Lad to build a vast network of contacts and associates in South Africa.

Over the course of his career Lad successfully managed a number of truck dealerships for several of South Africa’s largest retail motor groups, and gained exposure with several leading commercial vehicle brands including Mercedes Benz, UD Nissan, Iveco and International Trucks. Lad also project managed one of the largest FMCG supply chain and warehousing contracts in Southern Africa.

In 2015, after becoming acutely aware of the lack of infrastructure within the used truck market and after recognizing the need for an efficient and professional service for the buying and selling of used trucks, Lad formed Commercial Truck Holdings “CTH”.
